Thoughts :
Uwu Gameover is an animated mockumentary about internet culture and growing up in cyberspace. The class brief asked the students to work with space and time from a conceptual perspective. My mind immediately when to the idea of cyberspace – longing for the nostalgia connected to the 2000’s tech-optimistic internet. I wanted to combine this nostalgia with the current dread and overconsumption linked to the interwebs.
The entire animation is drawn in Photoshop and animated in After Effects by me.
