Thoughts :
Uwu Gameover is an animated mockumentary about internet culture and growing up around a cyberspace. The class brief asked the students to work with space and time from a conceptual perspective. My mind immediately when to the idea of cyberspace – longing for the nostalgia connected to the 2000’s tech-optimistic internet. I wanted to combine this nostalgia with the current feeling of dread and overconsumption linked to the interwebs.
The entire animation is drawn in Photoshop and animated in After Effects by me.
